The increased access to astrological information due to the internet and social media presents a double-edged sword for those interested in learning astrology and in receiving astrological consultations. On the one hand, having knowledge about astrology at one’s fingertips provides a boon to astrologers, giving us the ability to increase our knowledge and share information with others of all levels. Other the other hand, good, solid information is mixed in with muck. There is a lot of bad astrological information available online, and there are a lot of bad astrologers.

I am interested in the entire art of astrology, but horary is the one branch to which I continually return. I never cease to be amazed at the level of specificity and detail horary charts can reveal.
People often believe they need a “reading” when really what they have is a burning question. Horary is especially effective for yes/no questions, but can answer all kinds. Some example questions are “Where are my earrings?” Is he cheating on me?” Am I pregnant?” and “Can I trust this person?“.

The most important elements of an astrology reading are accuracy, compassion and creative remediation. These are qualities I strive to bring to my readings. At this time I do not offer full natal readings, but I will interpret five areas of of your birth chart.
When I refer to “areas” of the chart, I am talking about your love life, financial situation, career prospects, children and fertility, issues with family and parents, etc.
Any five of these areas will be explored in depth.

Annual Profection and Solar Return Reading
Annual Profections are a predictive technique in astrology where the chart is turned at a rate of 30 degrees per year, starting with the ascendant. It is an extremely powerful and accurate technique with the ability to predict on a granular level down to the day. Profection is usually used in conjunction with the Solar Return chart to create the fullest picture of what the year will hold for the native. Please read my article on the subject here.

Free Weekly Zoom Traditional Astrology Workshop
Every Sunday at Noon PST
The focus of the weekly workshops is to decode and decipher traditional astrological texts from the 2nd to 17th century for the purpose of furthering traditional astrological knowledge, and to test the efficacy of the ancient methods.
For the next 10 weeks, we will be using The 146 Considerations of Guido Bonatti, written in the 13th century. This book was considered so important by famous astrologer William Lilly, that he re-published it in the 17th century under the name, “Anima Astrologiae,” or “Soul of the Astrologer.”
The Considerations provide an excellent orientation to the chart, and answers important questions such as “what is most important when looking at a chart?” “How do you put things together?” and “Where do you start?”
